Tina has an affinity for plants and obscure details of natural and local landscape. A student of Botany and Botanical Illustration inspires her to paint using watercolor and pen and ink to portray whimsical and accurate details of plant and floral structures and patterns for educational and visual purposes.

Tina's longtime work in the hospitality industry  ignited her career in sign painting, initially writing on casual bistro chalk boards to becoming a professional Trader Joe's Sign Artist. She enjoys fun bright elementary colors to bring light to messaging and design. Tina finds safety in pattern. soft shapes and contrasting colors evoke  the personification of a journey of feelings, the initial feeling and resolution to turmoil can all be found mixed in the flowing shapes and patterns of her collage.

What started as a curiosity has be come a passion for craft, consistency and 3d design. A hand building production potter for Material Things. Tina makes restaurant ware.  Her personal work reflects her passion for typography and patterns, with carved words and details being the focus of her work in clay.
